Fees

Effective Date: March 3, 2026

Nerdbeak, Inc. ("Nerdbeak," "we," "us") operates multiple platforms including Nerdworth, Sugrworth, YoYoworth, Cliqket, and RepCheck (collectively, "our Platforms"). This Fee Schedule applies across all Platforms that support marketplace transactions.

1. Buyer Service Fee

A service fee of 5% is added to the purchase price at checkout. This fee covers payment processing, buyer protection, and platform operations.

The buyer service fee is displayed before checkout so there are no surprises.

Service fees are refunded in full if a buyer protection claim is approved.

2. Seller Platform Fee

A platform fee of 10% is deducted from the sale price. This covers:

  • Marketplace access
  • Listing tools
  • Payment processing
  • Seller tools
  • Platform infrastructure

The platform fee is calculated on the item sale price (excluding shipping).

3. Creator Fees

Sellers using creator storefronts or white-label features may have different fee structures.

  • Creator-specific fees are disclosed in the creator agreement
  • Some verticals may offer promotional reduced fees for early sellers

4. Worked Examples

Example 1: Fixed Price Sale

Item price: $50.00

Shipping: $5.00 (set by seller)

Buyer pays:

  • $50.00 item price
  • $5.00 shipping
  • $2.50 service fee (5%)
  • Total: $57.50

Seller receives:

  • $50.00 sale price
  • -$5.00 platform fee (10%)
  • +$5.00 shipping
  • Total payout: $50.00

Example 2: Auction Sale

Winning bid: $100.00

Shipping: $8.00

Buyer pays:

  • $100.00 winning bid
  • $8.00 shipping
  • $5.00 service fee (5%)
  • Total: $113.00

Seller receives:

  • $100.00 sale price
  • -$10.00 platform fee (10%)
  • +$8.00 shipping
  • Total payout: $98.00

5. Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed through Stripe to your connected bank account.

  • Standard payout timing is 2-7 business days after delivery confirmation, depending on your Stripe account status
  • New sellers may have longer initial hold periods
  • Payouts are batched daily

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe's processing fees are included in the platform fee structure above.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay (availability varies by platform)

7. Fee Changes

We may update our fee structure with 30 days advance notice.

  • Fee changes will be communicated via email and platform announcements
  • Existing transactions at the time of a fee change will be honored at the original rate
