Seller Protection

Effective Date: March 3, 2026

Nerdbeak, Inc. ("Nerdbeak," "we," "us") operates multiple platforms including Nerdworth, Sugrworth, YoYoworth, Cliqket, and RepCheck (collectively, "our Platforms"). This Seller Protection Policy applies across all Platforms that support marketplace transactions.

1. Payment Security

Payments are processed and secured through Stripe. Buyers must complete payment before you ship. Funds are held until delivery confirmation where applicable.

2. Fraud Protection

We monitor for fraudulent buyer activity including:

  • Chargebacks from stolen payment methods
  • Fake "Item Not As Described" (INAD) claims
  • Address manipulation

Suspicious buyer accounts may be flagged or suspended.

3. Invalid Claim Protection

Not all buyer claims are valid. We review each dispute on its merits. Claims are denied when:

  • The item matches the listing description and photos
  • Tracking confirms delivery to the correct address
  • The buyer fails to provide evidence of the issue
  • The claim is filed outside the dispute window

4. Shipping Protection

Sellers who ship with tracking and follow our shipping policy guidelines are protected. If tracking shows "delivered" to the correct address, the seller has fulfilled their obligation.

Signature confirmation for orders $250+ provides additional protection. Keep shipping receipts and photos of packaged items for your records.

5. Chargeback Protection

If a buyer files a chargeback through their bank, we work with Stripe to contest it on your behalf. Provide all relevant documentation including tracking, delivery confirmation, listing screenshots, and communication with the buyer.

Most chargebacks are resolved within 60-90 days.

6. Example Scenarios

Scenario A

A buyer claims "Item Not As Described" but the item exactly matches the listing photos and description. Claim denied. Seller keeps payment.

Scenario B

A buyer claims non-receipt but tracking shows delivered with signature. Claim denied. Seller keeps payment.

Scenario C

A buyer files a dispute 30 days after delivery, outside the 14-day dispute window. Claim denied as untimely.

7. Your Responsibilities

To maintain seller protection, you are expected to:

  • Create accurate listings with clear photos
  • Ship promptly with tracking
  • Communicate with buyers about any issues
  • Respond to disputes within the requested timeframe
  • Follow all platform policies
